Flying Eagles Coach Paul Aigbogun has expressed satisfaction with his team’s progress following Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Nigeria National League (NNL) side EFCC FC in their first test game in Abuja.

The Flying Eagles are preparing for next month’s 2019 Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifiers against either Sierra Leone or Guinea Bissau.

Aigbogun’s appointment as Flying Eagles Coach was recently confirmed but has been handed the target of qualifying for the world cup and possibly winning Nigeria’s first world title.

Meanwhile, NFF Communication Director, Demola Olajire also confirmed the Flying Eagles will embark on a two-game tour of Egypt.

A squad of 23 players are due in Egypt on Friday and will play two matches on March 26 and March 28, all in the port city of Alexandria.
