Ola Aina helped Torino pick a point against title challengers AC Milan in an Italian Serie A game on Sunday.
The Nigerian has been struggling for game time since after returning from AFCON in Cameroon, but was given a rare opportunity to impress against the Rossoneri.
Aina came on for Ivorian midfielder Wilfried Songo, four minutes after the hour mark, and helped the defence keep Milan’s attack at bay.
He has now made 17 appearances in the league for Torino this season without a goal contributions and has been booked on four occasions, which means he’s a yellow card away from suspension.
Meanwhile, the game ended without a goal and Victor Osimhen’s Napoli have Torino to thank because the result blew the title race open again.
Napoli earlier lost to Fiorentina at home and Milan’s failure to win in Turin means the title race will go down to the wire.
Just two points separating Napoli in third position from Milan who are leading the park after the round 32 matches.
As for Torino, they remain 11th on the standing, although they have played a game less.
