Super Eagles defender Oluwasemilogo Ajayi was at his best for English Championship leaders West Bromich Albion in their 2-2 draw with Barnsley on Tuesday.
The Baggies welcomed Barnsley to the Hawthorns at the back of their narrow victory over Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium last Saturday and were looking to consolidate on their lead at the top of the log .
However the away side breached the Slaven Bilic’s men defence led by Semi Ajayi twice in the first half to take 2-0 lead before half time.
Cauley Woodrow grabbed a brace in the 18th and 24th minutes respectively to put Barnsley ahead, but Bambo Diaby’s own goal and Matheus Pereira’s 81st minutes strike saved the day for West Bromich Albion.
The draw reduced West Brom’s Lead at the top of the summit to just two points ahead of second place Leeds United.
