Nigerian defender Joshua Akpudje is over the moon following his inclusion in the Latvian Virsliga team of the week.
Akpudje helped his club BFC Daugavpils to the top of the table with an important away victory over title rivals Ventspills on Sunday.
The former MFM of Lagos gave a solid performance on the night as his team ran away with a clean sheet and all three points.
The player has featured in all four league games for his club so far, but his performance on Sunday is arguably his best so far.
