Akwa United’s Dare Ojo targets three points against former Club Enyimba FC

Akwa United veteran midfielder Dare Ojo is expecting a difficult game against Enyimba International of Aba.

 

The reigning Champions will clash with the two-time CAF Champions League winners in a reschedule match-day 7 game at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba on Wednesday afternoon.

 

Speaking ahead of the mid-week game, the former Enyimba player spoke on the need for his team to go all out for victory in Aba.

 

“After Sunday’s disappointing outing against Sunshine Stars in Uyo, it’s time for us to make up for the points we dropped at home by redoubling our efforts to ensure we get a good result in Aba.

 

“The match will be tough and we have to up our game and be ready to give it our all. Last season, we got one point here in Aba and this time around we are aiming for a maximum of three points. We know it’s possible because we are capable. All that we need is to get our game plan right”.

 

After seven rounds of matches, Akwa United have have accumulated eleven points comprising three wins, two draws, and two losses. Victory in Aba on Wednesday will be their first away win of the season.
