Katsina United goalkeeper, Aliko Mustapha has terminated his contract with the NPFL club.
According to reports, Katsina United were owing their players for seven months salaries and the salaries for four months was recently cleared.
However, the former Niger Tornadoes captain told brila.net exclusively in a chat that he has terminated his contract with the club as he is unable to play football in the Katsina United way.
”I have gone to the club and collected my clearance from them now, because I can’t play football that way, football is not played that way, he lamented!
“How can I be playing for seven months you did not pay me and now, you are paying me for just two months and the other two months are just seventy percent and you want me to stay again!?”
“It is better for me to stay without a club,” Aliko said.
Aliko has joined Katsina United in 2019 after spending over a decade in his home club Niger Tornadoes.
