Striker Sikiru Alimi is on the verge of signing for Libyan Club side Darnes Derna SC.
Alimi reportedly agrees to personal terms with the club and the deal will be announced after his medical.
Alimi would be joining as a free agent after leaving Nigerian Professional Football League side Remo Stars after his short contract expired.
The former Lobi Stars and Warri Wolves striker spent the second half of last season with the Sky Blues and quickly became an instant hit in Ikenne.
Alimi played all the game in the second stanza of the 2021-2022 NPFL, except two, and netted eight goals in return.
His transfer to Darnes Derna SC is expected to be completed next week and he will pen his official farewell to Remo Stars soon.
