Almeria slaps €30 million price tag on Sadiq Umar

Spanish Segunda side UD Almeria will request a fee in the region of €30 million for their prized Nigerian asset, Sadiq Umar.

Spanish media outlets Zerocinquantuno.it reported said in a report that the Andalusia will only consider a bid in the region of €30m from clubs that want to sign the Nigerian striker.

Umar joined Almeria for €7 million last season, but his value increased drastically following his impressive 2020-2021 campaign in Spain.

Umar netted 22 goals in all competitions to help Almeria reach the promotion play-off semi-final where they lost to Girona.

Umar has been linked with Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla and Italian side Atalanta, but Almeria recently said no official bid has been tabled.

Recently, Sevilla sporting director, Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo, reiterated his desire to bring the Nigerian to the club next season, but it remains to be seen if the club will be willing to pay €30m for the striker.
