Amaju Pinnick reveals next plans after NFF Presidency

NFF Amaju Pinnick has revealed his next plans after completing his term as the President of Nigeria Football Federation.

The Delta-State-born administrator on Friday revealed he won’t be running for the position again, when his tenure come to an end later this year.

The former CAF 1st Vice President was first elected in 2016 and became the first Nigerian to spend more than five years at the helm of affairs when he was re-elected in 2019.

“It is fine, at least no Nigerian has been re-elected, but I became the first . This is my 8th year with the NFF.” He said in an interview on radio with Godwin Enakhena.

“So it’s a privilege, if you look Senegalese FA, the president has been there for 13 years and he just achieved a meaningful feet not long a go. And that’s football, continuity , but here isn’t the same.”

“People just look at you with so much bitterness for doing nothing . In fact some of them were here before and they know what transpired.”

On his next move, Pinnick said, he will continue with his position with CAF and FIFA.

Almost every day of my reign has been from one court case to another, but everything worked together for good.

After my tenure, I will continue with my role in CAF and FIFA and if my tenure expire, I will wait for another one if God permit.

On Sunday, I left Nigeria for Buocarest where I represented the FIFA President, so I’ll continue doing that”. He concluded.
