3SC Technical Adviser Fatai Amoo believes his team is blending really well and can upset Rivers United when they meet the Port Harcourt based side on Saturday.
Fatai Amoo expects an intriguingly-poised Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clash in Port Harcourt, knowing that Rivers United’s confident has increased after they defeated KCCA club of Uganda in CAF Confederation Cup.
Amoo’s 3SC who won 2-0 at home over ABS of Ilorin in their last NPFL game against will be looking forward to build on that as they face Rivers United.
But 3SC have not recorded back to back wins this season in the NPFL, neither have they recorded an away victory.
Amoo is famed for keeping things compact in midfield and against the Pride of Rivers. Currently placed 18th in the Nigeria Professional Football League table, with 29 points from 25 games, a win for 3SC will see them move out of the relegation zone.
Amoo said: ‘It is an advantage for them (Rivers United) playing in front of their home fans but that will also demotivate us.
‘We respect them for the quality in their squad, and we won’t be complacent on Saturday.
‘We are in Port Harcourt for a mission and we hope to achieve it.’
