Enyimba FC defender Ifeanyi Anamena has stated that he is pleased to have seen his side got drawn against Guinean league side Horoya AC in the quarter final round of the CAF Confederation cup following Wednesday’s CAF inter club competitions quarter final draws ceremony in Cairo, Egypt.
Anemena speaking in a chat gathered by www.brila.net said he is aware of the quality of the Guinean side been seasoned campaigners on the continent but believes the People’s Elephant with more hard work have what it takes to beat their opponents to the semi final ticket in the CAF Confederation cup.
“I know that Horoya is a good team knowing their performances in the past CAF Confederation cup and champions league. I strongly believe in my mind that we can scale through to the semi final if we are able to put more hard work, commitment and to play for each other because as a team we really have to play for each other in order to succeed. So we are likely to get to the semi final.”
