Anayo Iwuala confident of historic comeback against Pyramids

Super Eagles winger Anayo Iwuala has charged his teammates to play the game of their lives against Pyramids this Sunday.

 

Enyimba will host Pyramids at the Aba Township Stadium for the second leg quarter-final of their CAF Confederation Cup tie.

 

Enyimba have mountains to climb after suffering a 4-1 defeat in the first leg of quarter-final encounter last week.

 

Enyimba needs at least 3-0 victory to be guaranteed a place among the final four in the African Elites competition.

 

Speaking ahead of the game, Anayo Iwuala who missed the first says he’s confident his side can turn the tie around but charged his teammates to turn up and play as a unit.

 

“First of all, we have to put our heads together, work as a team and play our game.”

 

“It’s football and I believe anything is possible, we have to get three goals, we can do and it is very possible. ” He told the club website.

 

Enyimba have won all their home games in the Caf Confederation Cup this season and they will be aiming to continue their streak come Sunday.
