Super Eagles winger, Anayo Iwuala has been ruled out of Enyimba’s CAF Confederations Cup quarter-final game against Pyramid FC.
The exciting winger will sit out of the first leg encounter as a result of yellow card accumulations.
The 22-year-old picked up his 5th yellow card of the competition in the final Group game against Orlando Pirates of South Africa in Aba.
He will now miss the first leg against Pyramid FC, slated for Sunday at the 30 June Air Defence Stadium al-Qāhirah, in Cairo, but he will be available for the return fixture in Aba on May 23rd.
Anayo’s suspension is a big blow for Aba Elephants as he has contributed immensely to their attack this season.
