Joe Aribo has explained the feeling of winning his first major silverware, following the triumph with Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
Aribo played a significant roles as the Gers were crowned winners of 2020-2021 Scottish Premier League season, ending the nine years reign of rivals Celtic.
“It’s an amazing feeling I think getting that first taste of silverware is definitely motivating me and pushing me to want more to want to improve more and just to want to be be a winner always; it’s a nice feeling,” He told brila.net.
However, Rangers fell short of European glory once again as they were knocked out of the Europa League in the round of 16 by Slavia Prague over the two legs.
Reflecting on the game, Aribo disclosed that the result was not what they wanted, but he remain confident they will be back to challenge again next season.
“That’s not one I’m actually allowed to speak about if I’m honest. But it was a result we didn’t want, obviously we wanted to go through we wanted to go through the next round, but in football you don’t always win sometimes,” He concluded.
