Coach of newly promoted Nigeria National League side 36Lions Francis Akinrele ‘Arigo’ has stated that his motivation as the NNL kicks off today across different centers in the federation is to earn promotion with his side to the top flight and also earn recognition as a coach.
Arigo who returned the club to the NNL after their last campaign in the second tier 8 years ago said he has his eyes set on been the coach to lead the Lagos based side to their first ever ticket to play in the NPFL.
” Were looking at promoting to the Premier league and we believe we can do it. I see it as a big thing for me taking them from the Amateur league to the NNL again because the NNL is a bigger league where people will see you more and appreciate your work more as a coach or player. “
36 Lions will get their campaign underway later today in Warri where they visit J.Atete FC in their opening game in only their second ever campaign in the second division.
