Nigerian duo, Tolu Arokodare and Yira Sor are set to make their return to competitive action with KRC Genk this Sunday.

Racing Genk signed Tolu Arokodare on the last day of the January transfer window as a replacement for the departed Paul Onuachu.

And after four games and one goal, the striker however suffered a knee injury in February.

After just under two months on the sideline, Arokodare is back in Wouter Vrancken’s match day squad for the first time. Yira Sor, who was out for 11 days is also in the squad for the game.

The forwards returned to training last week and have been cleared to return to the pitch by the doctors.

Their return is a big boost for Wouter Vrancken who needs three points against Charleroi to help Genk finish first in the regular season.

Meanwhile, Daniel Munoz, who missed the last two matches with an injury, is not fit to return and he’s likely to be replaced again at right-back by Angelo Preciado.

Genk lead second placed Union Saint-Gilloise with two points, and must win at Charleroi to go into the title playoff as table winners.
