England and Arsenal legend Ian Wright expects Chelsea to make a move for Victor Osimhen this summer.

Chelsea are likely to shop for a forward in the summer transfer window, with the Club ready to cut ties with Romelu Lukaku.

The Blues are have been poor this season, and particularly goalscoring has been a major reason for concern.

Chelsea’s highest goalscorer in all competitions this season being Kai Havertz with nine goal, and several reports have linked the club with Osimhen.

The Nigerian is enjoying a stellar season with Napoli as they recently won the Scudetto, and the 24 year-old is also leading the race for Capocannoiere with 23 goals from 28 matches.

” We’ve got to give him flowers man, we’ve got to,” Wright said on his Ringer FC Podcast (via the Metro).

On Osimhen’s next destination, the former Arsenal’s record goalscorer says, Chelsea is a very strong possibility.

“I wonder where he’s going to end up? It wouldn’t surprise me if it was Chelsea. Chelsea are going to try
and get him I think,” Wright concluded.
