Arsenal are not giving up on their pursuit of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen this summer and are preparing a bigger offer for the Napoli Striker.
The London side had an offer of £57 million for the Nigerian rejected last month, but seem they are planning to return with a new offer according to media reports in the UK.
English tabloid, The Sun reported that the Gunners are prepared to offer a club-record £86 million for the Nigerian, who still has three years on his deal with the Serie A club.
Man United and Liverpool have also been credited with interests for to Napoli striker, but Arsenal remain confident they can beat their rivals to his signature.
Victor Osimhen, 23, has scored 24 goals in 51 Serie A games since a £60 million move from Lille in 2020.
It is unclear if the Striker himself is ready to take the next step in his career by moving to England.
But there is a strong conviction at Arsenal that the latest offer will tempt Napoli to come to the negotiation table and a deal could be completed before the end of the month.
