Arsene Wenger has reportedly turned down Paris Saint-Germain’s offer of general manager in a bid to continue his career in first-team management with the France National team.
PSG are expected to change managers this summer due to their early exit from the Champions League, despite Unai Emery being on the brink of guiding his side to a domestic treble.
After revealing he would leave the Gunners at the end of season, the Frenchman has been inundated with offers from clubs around the world – including a lucrative mega-money move to China.
But according to reports, Arsene Wenger is more interested in taking over the France National team after the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
PSG are now expected to target Thomas Tuchel as their new manager, although Wenger has previously suggested that he would be interested in a top European club and that he will make no decision over his future until at least a month after the end of the season.
