Nigerian Table tennis star Aruna Quadri has crashed out of the ongoing 2022 World Table Tennis Championship in Macao, China.
The World number 14 was beaten by Anton Kallang in the round of 32 of the men’s singles event earlier on Thursday.
The Swedish star dominated the match and won 3-0, despite being tagged as the underdog, due to his lower ranking.
The 25-year-old shocked the arena, winning 11-8, 11-9, 11-9 to send Aruna parking from the championship.
The defeat is a big blow to Aruna Quadri’s aspirations to finish the eventful year on high.
