Ghana Black Stars’ General Captain, Asamoah Gyan is reportedly close to agreeing a deal to join his 11th club side.

Gyan, who is Ghana’s record all-time record goal scorer, last played for Turkish club side, Kayserispor but is close to agreeing a deal with Indian Super League side NorthEast United for the new season.

The 33 year-old previously played in the Serie A, English Premier League, Ligue Un and in China.

Per Ghana media outlet, www.ghanasoccer.net, talks between the Guwahati-based and Gyan’s representatives are far advanced and the deal could be announced later this month.

Gyan has been lined-up to replace former Super Eagles forward, Bartholomew Ogbeche, according to the report.

The Nigerian was NorthEast United’s top scorer last season with 12 goals.
