Aubameyang Arsenal move in doubt after making Dortmund return against Freiburg

Borussia Dortmund ace, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s move to Arsenal is in doubt with the striker returning for His side  against Freiburg.

Gabonese international, Aubameyang made a return to Dortmund’s team in Saturday afternoon’s home 2-2 draw with Freiburg in the Bundesliga.

Meanwhile, the controversial player was however poor in the overall rating of the game,  He has not being in action for the German Bundesliga giants since December 16 of last year.

And that has been as a result of “punctuality problems” which are also relating to his poor timekeeping in general.

Meanwhile, Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has dismissed reports suggesting his side are on the verge of a deal for Aubameyang.

The Frenchman has disclosed the North London team “are not close” to finalizing a transfer for the Borussia Dortmund hitman.

Arsenal have reportedly made a club-record offer for Aubameyang which beats the £52m they paid for another striker, Alexandre Lacazette.

And the two parties are in serious negotiations at this very moment for the prolific attacker, according to valid reports.

Meanwhile, the North London outfit have reportedly spoken about doing a straight-cash business with the German heavyweights for Aubameyang’s services.

But the Bundesliga giants have, however, revealed their keen interest in a part-exchange deal.

This deal would see French targetman, Giroud who is surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium move the other way.

The Gunners on their part are lining Aubameyang up as a suitable replacement for new Manchester United attacker, Alexis Sanchez.

Speaking at his pre-match presser on Thursday, Dortmund boss, Peter Stoger said: “He trained well this week and left a good impression.

“He has qualified himself for the squad at the weekend if he continues like that,” the German gaffer summed up.
