Enyimba defeated Katsina 2-1 in Saturday’s NPFL match-up at the Aba International Stadium.
The Finidi George’s men secured the hard fought win via a goals from returning Captain Austin Oladapo and Chukwuemeka Obioma.
Oladapo gave them the lead on the stroke of half time with a fantastic effort out outside the area.
Katsina United were handed a way back into the game in the 61st minute, after Enyimba’s Somari Alalibo scored an own goal 1-1.
However, a well-taken penalty from Emeka Obioma restored Enyimba’s lead in the 68th minute, after a Katsina player hits Adekunle Adeleke with his boot as the defender attempted to head home a corner.
Enyimba head on for their win to make successive home win at home.
