Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem continued his goal scoring form as he netted for Hadjuk Split again on Saturday night.

Awaziem scored one of the goals to give Hajduk Split a 2-1 home win against visitors Varazdin in the Croatian league.

The former FC Porto defender scored a stoppage time winner to give Hajduk Split maximum points on Saturday.

The 25 year-old has now scored the winner for his side in back-to-back games, after scoring in last Sunday’s 1-0 win at Rijeka.

He has three goals in all competitions for the club, since joining them this summer.

The victory extends Hajduk Split’s unbeaten run to six games, which includes four wins and two draws.

Hajduk Split remain second on the table with 23 points, behind leaders Dinamo Zagreb.
