Taiwo Awoniyi continues his goalscoring form Union Berlin in their German Bundesliga Game against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Sunday.
The goal was his third for Union Berlin in as many matches in the 2021-2022 Bundesliga campaign.
The 24-year-old scored his side second goal of the game on the 41st minute at Stadion An der Alten Försterei in Berlin.
German star Niko Gießelmann scored the first goal for Union Berlin on 22 minutes, while Jonas Hofmann pulled one back for the visitors a minute into added time.
It was the first time Union Berlin is winning a Bundesliga game this season, after drawing their opening two games.
Meanwhile, Awoniyi’s compatriots Anthony Ujah and Suleiman Abdullahi were not listed for the game week 3 fixture, and are yet to play their first game for the club this season.
