Taiwo Awoniyi again showed why he’s the man to lead Nottingham Forest attack with a brace against Chelsea at Stanford Bridge on Saturday.
Awoniyi netted in each half to help the Bees pick a vital point in the battle against relegation.
He has now scored four goals since he returned from injury late last month, including back to back brace.
The Nigerian now takes his season tally to 9 in all competitions, with 8 in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old also has one assist.
Awoniyi put Forest ahead at the break with a header (13) following an error by Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
Raheem Sterling then scored twice in the second half (51, 58) to give Chelsea the lead.
Chelsea’s lasted four minutes, as Awoniyi scored another header (62) from the box to restore parity.
Following the draw Nottingham Forest restored their three-point gap above the relegation zone.
