South Africa national team goalkeeper Ronwen Williams has stated that the quarter final match between South Africa and Nigeria will be very tough and that the whole team is under no illusion as to the enormity of the task facing the Bafana Bafana later this evening against Nigeria.
Williams speaking in a chat gathered by brila.net ahead of the tie against Nigeria said the team will be calm and give it best to beat a tough side in Nigeria.
He also said playing inside the Cairo international stadium this time will be better as against when they played against host nations Egypt which made communication with his players a bit tough because of the massive turnouts of fans on the day.
“This is special now, we know we have tough opponent, we know we have to be completely focussed and we know it will take mental energy playing against Nigeria. We have gotten to the sharp end of the stick and we will be ready for Nigeria.”
