Nasarawa United gaffer Bala Nikyu is pleased with two-goal hero Adamu Hassan and the team’s performance as they returned to winning ways.
Hassan scored a brace in Wednesday’s 3-0 win over FC IfeanyiUbah at the Lafia City Stadium.
Speaking to journalists after the match, Nikyu said: “Adamu Hassan is an experienced player, even though he might not have the energy to play full time, but he has what it takes to do what is required of him.”
The Nasarawa United Coach added that his team has to be at their best for the upcoming cracker against the rejuvenated MFM FC at the Soccer Temple on Sunday.
“We lost in Jigawa, but we won here. The game is revolving, but if you have a target, you think of how to win, and this winning has to be more than your losing so that you get what you want.
“Our target is to remain on the top because once the league enters week twenty or thereabout, everybody will be on fire.
“Against MFM, it’s bargain after ninety minutes. And we are rearing to go, and whatever may be the outcome, we shall accept it,” he concluded.
