Rivers Hoopers Ogoh Odaudu has stated that the Port Harcourt-based side will rise up to the challenge ahead of this Sunday’s commencement of the NBA packaged Basketball Africa League in Kigali, Rwanda.
Odaudu speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said he believes Rivers Hoopers will compete favourably in the Africa premium club basketball competition.
Hoopers will get their qualification out of the group underway when they face Rwanda’s Patriot Basketball club in the opening clash of the Basketball Africa League on Sunday.
“We have been working really hard since we got here. So far it’s been great the team has blended very well, with the days that we have left we should be 💯 percent ready before the jump ball. It’s a fierce competition, nobody is going to underrate any team but I think we have what it takes to get out of our group and that’s the basic thing.”
