Three times Women’s Premier Basketball League champion Mary Isuambuk has slammed the neglect of home based players and describes the selection policy to the national teams as “political”.
The first bank basketball Club Point guard told brila.net that the continued neglect of players in the Nigeria league is forcing more and more players out to foreign teams.
She faulted successive national team selectors for placing priority on foreign pros even when it is clearly to the detriment of players on the domestic front.
