Former Nigerian international Benedict Akwuegbu has expressed grief over the death of a former colleague (Ajibade Babalade) and calls for unity among the Nigerian players Union.

Akwuegbu who was a teammate with the late super eagles Senegal 92 nation’s cup bronze medalist, told brila.net in a chat that, it’s a painful death. He also had good things to say about the deceased.
