Michel Dussuyer acknowledges the qualities and the depth in the squad of the Nigeria “Super Eagles”, but remains “optimistic”.
On Wednesday 13 November 2019, the Benin Squirrels will face Nigeria’s “Super Eagles”, a team whose performances are well known.
Referring to the last AFCON, Nigeria finished 3rd with very good performances. These Nigerian feats are not unknown to the coach of Benin’s national team.
Michel Dussuyer is well aware of the scope of the task facing his foals. According to him, Benin goes to the front with many weapons and will not be devoured. Benin’s national 11 will fight a battle for determination and ambition in the hope of winning.
“We know he’s a great African and World champion, third in the last CAN. They have a large squad with players who play at the highest level. We know the gaps in potential. We’re here to defend our chances on the field, if we’re disciplined. We already have some experience of playing for the big teams. We’re going to play a game with ambitions. “said Benin coach Michel Dussuyer.
