Nigeria will play Benin Republic in the second and final round of the 2018 African Nations Championship in a bid to reach the 5th edition of the competition.
The Squirrels defeated Togo 7-6 on penalties in the second leg of the fixtures after both were tied 1-1 (2-2 over two legs).
That victory for the Squirrels on Sunday paved the way for the clash against Nigeria’s Eagles on the 11th and 18th of August.

For the Eagles, they’ll be attempting to make a third appearance at the CHAN.
They finished in third place at the 2014 CHAN but failed to progress past the group stage at the next edition.
Nigeria finished in third spot in group D, behind Tunisia and Guinea; the latter were debutants in Rwanda on that occasion.
CHAN is a tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), which is exclusive for players registered in their national leagues and are eligible to play in that season.
The Eagles will commence camping for the qualifiers against Benin on Monday in Kano.
Coach Salisu Yusuf has already named 30 players, all have been handed invitations and are expected to resume camp after the weekend league matches.
