Arsenal Legend, Kanu Nwankwo and Alex Iwobi have paid tributes to Arsene Wenger, who will leave his position at the end of the current season.
Premier League club, Arsenal, announced that Wenger had decided to step down from the job after 22 years.
In his instagram post on Friday, Kanu, who joined Arsenal in 1999 and was a member of the club’s famed Invicibles, described his time under the Frenchman’s tutelage as ” the best period of my career”.
The former Nigeria international described Wenger as a gentleman and stated that the Manager’s exit will be Big shoes for anyone to fill.
“Big shoes for anyone to fill, playing for Arsenal under Arsene was one of the best period of my career, 2 premiership, 2 FA cups, The invincibles, playing with some of the best assembled players, influencing millions of fans in West Africa to support this great club are some of the memories that come to fore today but above all the privilege to have played for a gentleman like Wenger is most cherished. 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆

In his message to the 68-year-old Manager, Alex Iwobi tweeted “I Will Forever Be Grateful To You Boss”.
