The Technical Adviser of Kwara United Abdulahi Biffo has called out his players for failing to live up to expectations against Rangers.
The Afonja Warriors were beaten by three first-half goals in one of the matchday 25 Nigeria Professional Football League fixtures on Sunday.
It was the first time the Harmony will Boys will concede three goals inside the opening 18 minutes in their NPFL history.
Speaking after the game, Biffo blames his players for the defeat, especially the defenders and attackers.
“We gave away two cheap goals and was careless in our defending that resulted in the third and that put paid to our plans coming into the match.”
“We created some opportunities but failed to take them against a very good side, Rangers International F.C.,” He said.
Kwara United is rooted in 6th position on the table with 37 points from 25 league outings.
