Biffo thrilled to see Kwara United back on the league summit

Kwara United returned to the top of the NPFL following their 2-0 success over Warri Wolves at the Kwara state stadium, Sunday.

In form striker Stephen Jude netted the first goal for Kwara United in the 7th minute from long distance.


Michael Ohanu put the game beyond the visitors in the 57th minute when he scored the second goal for Kwara United.


The Harmony Boys are now back on top of the summit with 25 points and Head coach Abdullahi Biffo was thrilled with outcome of the game.


Speaking at the post match conference, the former Abia Warriors boss commend the effort of his players and also thanked the supporters of the team.


“I am happy for this result and I must praise my players for their efforts which gave us the three maximum points.” He told the press.


“My appreciation also goes to all Kwarans for their support for me and my team and I want to assure them that we will continue to do our best and get more good results this season,” Biffo said.


Biffo will now lead his boys to Bauchi to face Wikki Tourists in NPFL week 14 tie.
