Akwa United boss Kennedy Boboye is unhappy with Akwa United’s slack defending during their league game against Shooting Stars.
The league champions were seconds away from wrapping up their second victory of the season, and were pegged back by late equaliser from the hosts in the Sunday’s encounter.
Utibe Achibong netted the opener for the defending Champions in the 29th minutes, but the goal was canceled by Ayo Adejubu in the second half added time.
Asked about his overall assessment on the match, Boboye was quick to replied and blamed loss of concentration for Shooting Stars equaliser.
“We played very well but we conceded a stupid goal due to lack of concentration from my players.”
“It was a difficult that could have gone either way, but we should have defended better in the final whistle. ” He stated.
