Boniface coy on his Union Saint-Gilloise future, dreams Super Eagles debut

Victor Boniface is on the list of several European clubs, but the striker is not desperate to leave Union Saint-Gilloise.

Boniface has impressed this season, leading Union Saint-Gilloise to the Belgian Jupiler title playoff, with his 20 goals in all competitions.

 

 

Milan, Real Valladolid and Napoli are among the clubs rumored to be after the 22 year-old’s signature.

Asked about his preferred destination, Boniface said :

“I have an agent for that. The most important thing for me is that my family is proud of me. And I do mulyself proud, and stay on the course I have traveled,” He said.

Despite his consistent form, Boniface is yet to play for Nigeria, an he admits it might be difficult with the array of options in his position.

“But I do dream of playing for the national team. (laughs) I do realize that there are a lot of excellent Nigerian forwards out there. Paul Onuachu, Victor Osimhen, Kelechi Iheanacho,” quotes Het Nieuwsblad.
