Super Falcons Striker Courtney Dike is not with the team in Ghana, but she keeps scoring life goals as she graduated as a Public Accountant from the Oklahoma State University.
Courtney who was initially named in the 48-women list for the 2018 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nation, did not make the trip and just under 48hours before the final became a Certified Public Accountant.
A picture of the 23-year-old flanked by her parents as she beamed with the CPA plaque was posted by twitter user Nnedimma – and it received a retweet by Courtney herself.

Meanwhile, as she celebrates this achievement, the Falcons are a match away from securing a 9th AWCON title for Nigeria when they go up against South Africa’s Banyana Banyana on Saturday.
In 2014, after participating at the World Cup the then 19-year-old caused a mild storm in the Nigeria media as she reportedly declined her bonuses.
But she cleared the air in a letter sent to the NFF and it reads in part:
“I am delighted to play for Nigeria whenever called upon. I knew before leaving for the U-20 World Cup that I would not accept any bonuses. Acceptance of prize money is against NCAA regulations (the division 1 collegiate governing body) here in the US, so that is the main reason for rejecting it.”
