Bosso unhappy with Flying Eagles performance against Dominican Republic

Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso admits his team must learn to finish up chances, if they are to go far at the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina.

Bosso’s side laboured to a 2-1 win over debutants Dominican Republic in their Group opener on Sunday.

The Flying Eagles missed several chances during the game, but an own goal from Dominican Republic defender Guillermo De Pena and Samson Lawal were enough to wipe Benjamin Frederick’s early penalty.

Speaking during the news conference, Bosso was unhappy with the performance. “We missed so many chances and we need to work on those chances before the next match,” he told a press conference.
