Technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation Bitrus Bewerang has stated that the CAF License courses will benefit coaches and that the Football Federation is doing her own bit in training and retraining of coaches with the commencement of the CAF C License coaching course which started Monday in Abuja but that it is left for the coaches to make themselves employable outside Nigeria.
Bewerang in a chat with Brila.net said the certification has become necessary so as to ensure that Nigerian coaches are not left behind in the grading and standardization of her coaches.
“We are now making sure that we train the coaches and then we have done many of these License courses. So the issue of most of our coaches not having jobs is not our fault. his is because the present practice allows for anything hence the need to now ensure coaches go through these courses for proper grading.”
