Enyimba striker Victor Mbaoma has lamented the unceremonious nature of the Peoples Elephant’s exit from the CAF Confederation cup after Tuesday’s group stage draws confirmed their fears beyond reasonable doubt that the team had been edged out in favour of Libyan opponents Al-Ittihad whom they had beaten in a leg of the two legged fixtures.
Mbaoma speaking in a chat with brila.net after the draws described as unfortunate and painful the weird nature of the team’s exit from the continent without actually losing a game on the field of but been walked over without a chance to protect and fight for qualification on the pitch.
