Calvin Bassey is expected to be involved in the Super Eagles clash with Portugal national team on Thursday.
Questions were raised over the fitness of the defender after he was substituted during Ajax Amsterdam’s clash with FC Emmen over the weekend.
The left-footed defender was taken off at the half time, following a knock, and was said to be a potential doubt for Thursday’s game.
The former Rangers man however seems to have shrugged off the knock and could be available for Super Eagles game.
The 23-year-old is one of the early arrivals in camp and he took part in the training session on Monday evening.
The National assignment is coming at the right time for Bassey who has been under heavy scrutiny recently following the underwhelming performances of Ajax Amsterdam.
