Carlos Omoruyi Kevin has signed a new contract with Spanish side Huesca, the club announced on Tuesday.
Kevin featured regularly and was instrumental in SD Huesca’s promotion to back to the Spanish premiere liga next season.
The club has now decided to tie the 19-year-old to a new contract that will keep him at the for the next three years.
The player said he’s excited about the development in a statement released on his social media handle: “Happy to sign my first professional contract with SD Huesca we keep working hard” he wrote.
Carlo Kevin was born in Spain to a Nigerian father and Spanish mother and he’s still eligible to represent the west African nation at the senior level.
The player said he won’t reject a call-up to play for the Nigerian National Teams if he is approached by the Nigeria Football Federation.
