Super Eagles left-back Brian Idowu saw action for the entire duration as his Club Lokomotiv Moscow was eliminated from this season’s UEFA Champions League after they were thrashed 4-1 by FC Porto.
Brian Idowu started from his favorite left back position for the Railwaymen as Porto raced to a half-time lead through Hector Herrera and Moussa Marega, before Farfán reduced the deficit for the visitors just before the hour mark.
However, Jesus Corona and Otávio scored in the closing stages of the game to make it 4-1 and hand Porto a comfortable victory, But the Portuguese giants did not list Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem game.
Meanwhile, Lokomotiv Moscow have to kiss the Champions League goodbye and have a slim chance of finishing third in the group and making it to the Europa League knockout rounds.
