The defending Champions defeated the Akure Gunners 1-0 in a closely contested third game at the ongoing Super six in Lagos.
Ebube Duru got the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the second half.
The slim win put the Pride of Rivers on top of the log with three points, while Sunshine Stars occupied the bottom with zero point.
Enyimba and Remo Stars played 2-2 draw, while the contest between Lobi Stars stand Bendel Insurance ended without a goal.
