Nigeria could potentially face host nation Morocco or 2014 winner Libya in the group stage of the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN 2018).
Seeded in Pot two of the CHAN 2018, the Eagles were ranked based on their performance in the past editions of the tournament.
Nigeria have only participated twice and will take part in next year’s edition.
The CHAN is exclusively for players based in their domestic leagues.
On Wednesday, CAF released details for the 2018 CHAN draw ceremony which holds will hold 17 November in Rabat, Morocco.
The tournament proper will be hosted by Morocco between January 13 and February 4 in the following cities: Casablanca (Group A), Marrakech (Group B), Tangier (Group C) and Agadir (Group D)..

Pot 2: Cameroon, Guinea, Nigeria, Zambia
Pot 3: Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan
Pot 4: Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Mauritania, Namibia
According to CAF he opening match and the final will be played at the newly refurbished Mohamed V Complex in Casablanca.
