CHAN Eagles Star Bature Yaro could join Rivers United in coming days

Former Nasarawa United Winger Bature Yaro has revealed he’s on verge of joining Nigeria professional football league side Rivers United after leaving Plateau United at the end of last season.

The CHAN Eagles winger joined the 2017 NPFL champions from Wikki Tourists but has not parted ways with the Peace Boys because things didn’t go as planned.

The winger told brila.net’s Oluwaseyi Alao from Rivers United‘s pre-season training camp in Akure that he’s impressed with what Rivers United are doing.

“Rivers United is a good team from what I’ve seen so far . This is my first training session with the team and I’m impressed with what I’ve seen.”

The Nigeria professional football league winner , however admits nothing has been signed but he will play a part in the team‘s pre-season Gold Cup game against Remo Stars on Saturday.

We are preparing for the game with Remo Stars and hopefully I can play a part.

Nothing has been signed between me and the Club due to some issues but hopefully, everything will be sorted out soon, although it won’t be more than a year.”

Bature Yaro won the 2017 Nigeria professional football league title with Plateau United.
