Plateau united and Super Eagles goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye has stated that Nigeria should learn from Morocco the blue print on how best to have a strong homebased national team after the Moroccan home based team successfully defended the CHAN title Sunday night in Cameroon courtesy of. 2-0 win over Mali.
Ajiboye speaking in a chat with brila.net reminisced about how the Super Eagles CHAN team lost to Morocco 3 years ago and stressed that the feats achieved by the Moroccan has shown how to be deliberate on success which is what is working for the Moroccan home based national team.
“If you look at it now I’m still in the league and we played 2018, however 2018/2019 majority of our own players are no longer around. If you check the Moroccan team you will see that about five players from the previous tournament are still there.”
