Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle has placed high expectations on the team heading into their 2025 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
.The Super Eagles has commenced preparations for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers with a high level of morale and focus, according to Media Officer Promise Efoghe.
“Morale is high here, everyone knows the task ahead,” he stated. “We just finished a meeting where Coach Eric Chelle shared his mission, and everything points to the fact that he knows what he wants.”

Efoghe revealed exclusively to Brila.net that the team is still awaiting the arrival of some players, with six currently in camp.
“We expect more players to arrive today, and by the end of the day, we should have almost a full house,” he said. “Tomorrow morning is the deadline for arrival, and we will have a training session in the evening with the available players.”
According to Efoghe, Coach Chelle has expressed confidence in the team’s ability to succeed,
with the quality of the players as a major factor.
“He believes he has some of the best players to work with, and he’s very excited to be the Nigerian coach.”
He also revealed that Coach Chelle has set very high ambitions for the team, with a desire to win
every match.
“He wants to be at the World Cup, and he even dreams of winning the World Cup,” Efoghe said. “Additionally, he wants to win the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in December.”
